Many of our Lineup artists like Blackwater Riff and Wishful have been into RPP studios to perform live and be interviewed. Great experience for everyone. The Little Theatre Company is starting this term working with Skills Plus. We have arts tutors going to Frankston, Cheltenham and Upper Ferntree Gully, to work with young people with the aim to improve self esteem and provide life skills, through the use of theatre techniques and more. This is exciting work for us, humbling and gratifying. In September we will be taking our senior Ensemble Group back to Swan Hill for The Fairfax Festival 2012, a four day event for kids from the Mallee region to experience theatre and hang out with other like-minded artsy kids. The Little Theatre Company was invited last year and our company of young actors had a blast learning skills like slapstick circus, monologue work, music and performance creation, and of course, an opportunity to make loads of new facebook friends.
